Casa Conchita is located near the center of town and is within walking distance to the popular market where Taal embroidery is sold and the Basilica of Saint Martin de Tours, the largest Catholic church in Asia. A good place to stay for a weekend, this place offers an idyllic experience right in the heart of a historic town.
OUR HISTORY
The house, once a nipa hut, has transformed over the years into an elegant modern home circa the 1950s, painstakingly maintained by the current occupants. The family room downstairs is cozy enough for large groups and the spacious garden allows for parking inside the house.
THE ARCHITECTURAL DETAILS
The house, which retains the name of the family matriarch Conchita Alcasid, features rustic wood accents, capiz windows, and is adorned with a collection of family photographs, vintage prints about the Philippines, and antiques brought home from family trips.
